I've been adopted!

Why this pet is the one for you: Maribelle is a sweet little rabbit who is looking for her human soulmate! Maribelle is bonded with her best buddy, Velvet 613120, and they are required to go to their new home together! They will need a large x-pen/playpen like enclosure with at least 16 square feet of room to stretch out. Maribelle is a very curious bunny! She is a little timid at first, but quickly warms up. Rabbits are intelligent and complex animals who do well with people who understand that they are prey animals and do not always enjoy being held/picked up. The best way to bond with Maribelle and Velvet is to spend time with them outside of their pen and shower them with plenty of cilantro, Romaine, and Timothy hay! They will let you know when they are happy by giving you a bunny binky (a hop/ twist in the air)! When rabbits get the space and enrichment they need, they often form deep bonds with their humans in the same way a dog or cat would. If it's your dream to have a pair of floppy-eared buddies then Maribelle and Velvet may be the rabbits for you!

Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2) is a highly contagious disease affecting rabbits. Due to its presence in San Diego County, all rabbits will receive a mandatory RHDV2 vaccine before adoption. Guests will be charged $12 for this vaccine upon adoption.
