Henny #759043
American Pit Bull Terrier/Siberian Husky
Male | 4Yrs 3Wks | 80 lbs
I've been adopted!
How this pet arrived: Henny was brought in by his previous owner on April 20th, 2022.
This big, strong, handsome guy is Henny! He's quite the lovebug who loves to cuddle with his favorite humans. As much as he enjoys lounging around on the couch, Henny is also highly active and slightly impulsive. He is in need of lots of exercise, and he would do best in a home with a yard to run around in. He wasn't given a lot of training in the past, so will need someone who can work with him using ongoing positive reinforcement training. Henny loves to play fetch! He is not a candidate for any off leash dog venues and should be the only dog in his home. He did live with a cat in a prior home. He would do best in a situation where he does not have exposure to other dogs, whether that be in his yard, house, or on walks. If children are in the home, they should be 8 years or older due to resource guarding behaviors over food; he doesn't like to share! Henny is still working on his potty training, but with patience and a consistent potty routine, he'll nail it in no time! If you have a quiet home with a small household size and Henny sounds like the dog for you, stop by the Escondido campus to meet him!
