Percy #779135
Border Collie/Shepherd Male | 10Yrs 1Wks | 46 lbs 9.6 oz I've been adopted!
This pet has been chosen as an Employee Pick! To see why our staff thinks he's so special Click here. How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by their previous owner on December 11, 2021. Why this pet is the one for you: Are you missing having a best friend? Don't worry, we have the best friend waiting for you right here! Percy loves his people! As a border collie mix, he exhibits all the behavior ticks of a border collie. That being said, he would love an owner that is familiar with the herding breeds. Percy may be a senior, but he is an ACTIVE boy. As we all know, use it or lose it, and he uses all those muscles, including his brain. Percy is very smart. Training games and puzzle toys will be a must to keep this boy happy. Percy likes to herd, which means he doesn't make a good friend to cats or young children (they have a hard time listening). Percy needs everyone in the home to be over the age of 10 so they can participate in K9 training. Percy also wants to be your only dog (other dogs get under his skin), but we promise he has enough energy to keep you satisfied! At the end of a busy day, Percy loves to curl up and get some attention (he wants to be a lap dog). Percy is a good boy in his crate, if you really secure it, but remember, he needs to get enough entertainment throughout the day to be happy. So, are you ready for a loyal active friend? Bring a leash and collar today to take Percy home!
