How this pet arrived:
Doobie was brought in by a Good Samaritan on October 14, 2022.

At SDHS:
Doobie has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She is now ready for her new home!

Why this pet is the one for you:
This precious girl is Doobie! If you are looking for the cutest, cuddliest couch potato...look no further! Doobie is currently living in a foster home where she spends her days lounging in her favorite spots, rolling around on her bed, going on walks with her foster, and enjoying enrichment items. We just adore her! Doobie prefers 1:1 time with her humans as opposed to large groups. She already told the family that she won't be hosting for the holidays. She has been working hard with her foster and our Behavior and Training team to help her feel more comfortable with new people and in new spaces. Doobie is a shy girl who is looking for some patient humans to help bring her out of her shell. It will take time, patience, and lots of tasty treats to help Doobie warm up and let her true beautiful personality shine. In order to help her progress continue, Doobie may do best in a home with no other pets and with humans old enough to read and appropriately respond to her body language. Doobie would love for nothing more to be the queen of her own castle and steal every second of your attention! If you think your home is the calm sanctuary that this sweetie pie has been looking for, give us a call at the number listed above!
