Pond sliders are an invasive species in California, and should go to prepared homes where they can live out their days in comfort, without being able to scurry away. Although sliders can live in huge (100+ gallon) indoor aquariums, their ideal living situation is an outdoor pond with room to swim, bask, and explore. Dribble's ideal pond should be established and bioactive, or equipped with a filter to keep their pool clean! Pond sliders live long lives (20+ years), so Dribble needs someone to provide for her in the long term. Dribble does enjoy turtle pellets, but will need to be supplemented with a species-specific omnivorous diet. Dribble can't wait to bask in the sun in his new home!
