Kirby #810748
Quail - Japanese/Mix
Unknown  |  250 g

I've been adopted!

How this pet arrived:
This pet was rescued by the Humane Law Enforcement Team on 4/29/22.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Japanese Quails are interesting little companions! During their migration, Japanese quail cover 248-621 miles- an amazing distance for a bird that is not famous for its flying capability. Also like chickens, the Japanese quail population are also omnivores, although 95% of their diet is made of plant matter. They usually eat grass seeds, berries, leaves, roots, worms, and some insects such as grasshoppers. They eat grass seeds like white millet, and panicum. They feed on insects' larvae as well. An adult Japanese quail eats between 0.49-0.6 oz (14-18 g) of food per day.

Color: Cream / Brown
Spayed/Neutered: No

My adoption fee includes a certificate for a free veterinary exam!
