Duckweed #842208
Red Eared Slider/Mix
Female  |  297 g

I've been adopted!

How Duckweed arrived:
Duckweed was brought in by her previous owner.

Why Duckweed is the one for you:
This is Duckweed! Duckweed is a beautiful red-eared slider who is ready to meet their forever family! Red-eared sliders are an invasive species in California, and should go to prepared homes where they can live out their days in comfort, without being able to run (er, slowly walk) away. Although sliders can live in huge (100+ gallon) indoor aquariums, their ideal living situation is an outdoor pond with room to swim, bask, and explore. Duckweed's pond should be established and bioactive, or equipped with a filter to keep their pool clean! Red-eared sliders live long lives (20+ years), so Duckweed needs someone to provide for them in the long term. Duckweed does enjoy their turtle pellets, but they will need to be supplemented with a species-specific omnivorous diet. Duckweed can't wait to bask in the sun in their new home! Don't forget that little tiny turtle fence to keep them from going on any adventures. If you think Duckweed is the one for you, ask about Duckweed today!
