Guinea pigs are prey animals, but once a guinea pig builds a relationship with their people, they enjoy snuggling and even pets! Hammie will require a large enclosure (at least 10.5 square feet) with places to hide and toys to chew on for her enrichment! She would also benefit from time out of her cage every day to get some exercise and spend some time with you! Guinea Pigs enjoy munching on yummy timothy hay and also love daily greens and orange slices in moderation. They require daily pellets to meet their nutritional needs as well! Guinea pigs love sharing all of the drama and will express how they are feeling with different sounds - be sure to listen, to get an idea of what she is telling you!
