Why this pet is the one for you: Kirk arrived at SDHS as an adorable new born bun in May of 2021, and he's been waiting for a home ever since! Kirk is a social and active rabbit who loves settling in for gentle pets and taking naps next to his humans! Kirk enjoys snoozing on his side stretch out like a house cat. He enjoys sleeping on our laps, and loves standing on his hind legs to keep an eye on our activities! This sweet boy loves to play with toys and spend time with his humans. If you would like to adopt Kirk, come visit him at the San Diego campus today! Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2) is a highly contagious disease affecting rabbits. Due to its presence in San Diego County, all rabbits will receive a mandatory RHDV2 vaccine before adoption. Guests will be charged $12 for this vaccine upon adoption.
