I've been adopted!

How this pet arrived:
King was brought in by Humane Law Enforcement on May 23, 2022.

At SDHS:
King has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home!

Why this pet is the one for you:
This handsome guy is King! King came into our care as a stray, so his history is a mystery to us. King can be very scared and overwhelmed by new people, so low stress interactions, tasty treats, and patience will be an important part of his transition into his new home. King can react very strongly to people and other animals on leash, so he will need positive re-enforcement training and lots of support after his adoption. His ideal home will have a small, adult only family, in a quiet area that does not have a lot of foot traffic around it. He also may do best as the only pet in the home. Once King gets to know you and feel comfortable, he can be quite the affection guy! He will make sure you get lots and lots of kisses at all times. His trainers would love to go over what his specific needs will look like in the future. So, does your home sound like the quiet sanctuary that King dreams of? Stop by our San Diego Campus and ask about him today!
