How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by a Good Samaritan in May 2022.

At SDHS:
Leo has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home!

Why this pet is the one for you:
Leo is a sweet but fearful boy who needs a quiet low-traffic environment. Like all cats, Leo will need an enclosed room to decompress with multiple appropriate places to hide (think covered cat beds or even cardboard boxes with blankets), and will likely need an extended amount of time in that room as he warms up. Once he's comfortable, Leo is an affectionate boy who enjoys neck rubs, and will even start purring and stretching out. This little cave-dweller has done best with consistent low-pressure interactions paired with high value treats (like Churu or baby food) where he has the option to move away when overwhelmed. This loving boy is just looking for a home where his beautiful personality can really shine! Does Leo sound like the cat for you? Call our San Diego Campus at 619-299-7012 today!
