How Luna arrived:
Luna was brought in by her previous owner.

Why Luna is the one for you:
Luna can be a bit shy at first, but will warm up over time and allow petting. Rabbits, like Luna, are intelligent and complex animals who do well in families with humans who understand that they are prey animals. The best way to bond with her is to spend time with her on the floor, and shower her with plenty of greens and Timothy hay! Luna is a domestic rabbit and she should be kept indoors. The nice thing about having indoor rabbits is that they can come out of their cage for bunny playtime, in a rabbit proof area of the home. It's during this supervised playtime that rabbits often exhibit some of their most fun and interesting behaviors! Luna will need a large enclosure with free roaming time (bigger is always better). Luna would love a family who will interact with her daily to keep her healthy and social! When rabbits get the space and enrichment they need, they often form deep bonds with their humans! Luna is ready to light up your life just like the moon, so if she sounds like the perfect fit for you, hop on over to our San Diego Campus to adopt her today!
