Meet Jushiro! Jushiro is a playful dog who enjoys lots of playtime and lots of belly rubs. He enjoys the company of others and has done well in the past with other well behaved dogs, therefore having a buddy at home would be a nice perk for Jushiro. He also has done well in the past with well behaved children. He does have some issues with submissive urination, what that means is that when the he feels overwhelmed by a social interaction he will involuntarily urinate. This behavior has nothing to do with housetraining, but rather is an indication anxiety when he is feeling overwhelmed. To manage the behavior you need to keep greetings very low key, take him to an area where elimination is acceptable during greetings, ask new people to allow Jushiro to approach them and ignore the behavior if it occurs. As he becomes more comfortable with managed greetings, the behavior generally decreases significantly even without management. Overall Jushiro is a great dog who is waiting for the right home!
