Kittens are energetic little babies for the first 2 years of life, sometimes longer! New kitten parents should be prepared to cat-proof their living environment, and provide lots of enrichment, exercise, and love. Kittens often do much better in pairs! If you have the time and space consider a second friend! Having a friend to keep them company can teach appropriate play behaviors, provide companionship, and give them a fantastic outlet for all that playful energy.
