Buckbeak has been adopted!

How Buckbeak arrived:
Buckbeak was brought by his previous owner on 4/21/22.

At SDHS:
Buckbeak has been given a basic exam by our Admissions Team and appears to be in good health.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Buckbeak is a handsome little rooster king who's looking for a new roost to call home. He loves to hunt for insects and tasty weeds! Once thought to be "bird-brained" new research shows that chickens and roosters are intelligent, empathetic, and affectionate pets. Fowl are known to have very distinct and amusing personalities. Anyone who's spent time with them knows how entertaining it is to sit and watch the dynamics between each hen and rooster. Whether they are being cuddly, curious, bossy, or dramatic, there will never be a dull moment with this guy around. Buckbeak would love to find a cozy place to dust bathe in the morning sun.
