How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by their previous owner.

At SDHS:
This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. This pet is now ready for their new home!

Why this pet is the one for you:
This is Brenda! She came in to our care as a very fearful dog who needed a little bit of time to warm up. While she was very nervous coming in, she has showed great social skills with familiar handlers. Brenda will need to go to a home with a fenced-in yard, as she continues to work on her leash-walking skills and positive reinforcement training! Her trainers are excited to talk with you about her progress so far and how to best set her up for success in her new home. She has limited socialization outside of her home with any other dogs, and will require a dog-to-dog introduction before she goes home to any other dogs. Does she sound like a match for you? Call us at 619-299-7012 to learn more about Brenda!
