How this pet arrived:
Helen was brought in by a Good Samaritan on August 28, 2020.

Why this pet is the one for you:
This is Helen! She's an adorable bunny looking for a special home to call her own! Helen has some medical conditions that may need ongoing care, and she would do best with a rabbit-savvy adopter. She is also blind and will also need to remain indoors in a safe and rabbit-proof area of the home. Helen may take time to adjust and learn your voice, but she will approach those that she trusts, for affection. Rabbits are intelligent and complex animals who do well in families with humans who understand that they are prey animals, and do not enjoy being picked up or held. Helen, especially, will do best with adopters who will go slowly with her and be gentle. The best way to bond with Helen is to spend time with her, on the floor, and shower her with plenty of greens and Timothy hay! She would love a family who will interact with her daily to keep her active and social! When rabbits get the space and enrichment they need, they often form deep bonds with their humans! Make an appointment to learn more!

Sponsored fee!

Great news! This pet has been sponsored! This means that the adoption fee has already been paid for by someone who wants to help this pet find a cherished home.

Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2) is a highly contagious disease affecting rabbits. Due to its presence in San Diego County, all rabbits will receive a mandatory RHDV2 vaccine before adoption. Guests will be charged $12 for this vaccine upon adoption.
