How this pet arrived:

Dana was brought in by their previous owner on May 1, 2021.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Dana! Dana is a super beautiful gal who is ready and waiting to find her new home! We have had plenty of time to get to know this goofy girl, and while we will miss her, it's about time she finds a loving home that understands her. Dana is a go getter; a "let's do this" kind of gal, who enjoys going on long walks and hikes, but after she's feeling pooped, she's just gonna conk out for her afternoon nap. She wants an owner that is just as active and lively as she is. Wide-open spaces are definitely more her jam, while apartment living would likely cramp her style. She would love a home with a yard to explore, but without doggy neighbors to ruin her mood. Dana is an only dog kind of girl, and her need to chase makes her an unlikely cat friend. Dana will thrive in a home that wants to work with her and continue her training; we want to see her go home so much that SDHS will cover a free training class for her! Dana may be a lot of energy, but we also know that she has an awfully cute squishy/soft side and can be a big cuddler when the mood strikes! We have seen her come so far and can't wait for her to go home! Come meet our star today!
