I've been adopted!

How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by their previous owner June 1, 2021.

At SDHS:
This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home!

Why this pet is the one for you:
This cute boy is Buddy! While buddy is a sweet, silly boy, he does have some challenges our trainers have been helping him with. His potential adopters should be patient and have notable experience/background with the following: Resource guarding and fearful behavior, handling sensitivities and use of positive reinforcement training without aversives, use of management and prevention for resource guarding, and the implementation of gradual desensitization and counter-conditioning under threshold. Buddy cannot go home to another dog, but may do ok have one on one playdates! He is not a good fit if there are children in the home either. If you are looking for a dog that you can help thrive with the use of positive reinforcement, Buddy could be the dog for you! Just think of the bond you can form working with this loveable guy! Come into our San Diego campus today if you are interested in learning more about Buddy!
