Why this pet is the one for you: Cora is a beautiful 3-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix looking for an active friend to spend her days with. Cora has a lot of energy and would benefit from physical and mental exercise. Things like stuffed kongs, puzzle toys (there are a ton of DYI ideas online), slow feeders, and trick training would be great ways to keep her mentally busy. She is very smart and treat motivated, so she is sure to excel at new mental games. Strange dogs and people can make her nervous so she does need someone willing to help her through her reactions to new things. She can be selective about her canine friends and would not be an ideal candidate for dog parks and beaches and she needs to be the only dog in the home. With a consistent schedule and patience, she is sure to thrive in a new home.
