Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Cooper! This handsome little man packs a lot of character into a small package. Cooper came into our care showing a lot of fearful behaviors. He has made incredible progress with his trainers and caregivers while following a positive reinforcement training plan. This training has enabled him to make positive associations with new people and new things - and he's still learning every day! Once comfortable, he loves going on walks, bounding around in yards, and eating LOTS of tasty treats - especially hot dogs! And once he's all tuckered out, he'll settle close to you on a towel or mat.

While Cooper is undoubtedly an adorable little guy, he is also a complex pup with specific needs. His ideal adopter will be able to continue Cooper's positive reinforcement training to help him build more good feelings about people, touch, handling, and new environments. And don't worry - this training is fun, rewarding, and engaging for everyone involved! Even better, Cooper will be SO happy that you understand and respect his boundaries, and use friendly positive reinforcement methods to "speak" with him in a familiar way. It's an absolute win-win!

If you think Cooper could be a great match for you, one of our amazing animal trainers will chat with you in order to give you all the information you need to start off on the right paw with him. Come learn more about Cooper at our San Diego Campus today!
