How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by their previous owner on May 23, 021.

Why this pet is the one for you:
This is Pebbles! She's an adorable bunny, looking for a special home to call her own! This sweet girl loves exploring her foster home, and being active! She may be bashful with new people, but once she feels safe with you she really comes out of her shell! Rabbits are intelligent and complex animals who do well in families with humans who understand that they are prey animals, and do not enjoy being picked up or held. The best way to bond with Pebbles is to spend time with her on the floor, and shower her with plenty of greens and Timothy hay! She is a domestic rabbit and we recommend that adopters keep her indoors. The nice thing about having indoor rabbits is that they can come out of their cage for bunny playtime, in a rabbit proof area of the home. It's during this supervised playtime that rabbits often exhibit some of their most fun and interesting behaviors! Pebbles would love a family who will interact with her daily to keep her active and social! When rabbits get the space and enrichment they need, they often form deep bonds with their humans! Pebbles has been handled easily while in our care. If you think Pebbles could be your new bunny pal, click "Adopt me" to start the process to bring her home! Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2) is a highly contagious disease affecting rabbits. Due to its presence in San Diego County, all rabbits will receive a mandatory RHDV2 vaccine before adoption. Guests will be charged $12 for this vaccine upon adoption.
