How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by a Good Samaritan on December 21, 2021.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Say hello to Donnie aka The Don! This chonky & talkative mellow boy may be a little shy at first, but with patience (and snacks!) he will become your best friend. He would thrive in a mature household that is ready and willing to provide chin scratches whenever he talks to you. Once he warms up he is a silly boy (just look at those photos!) and his foster family reports that Donnie even knows how to "sit" for his food, and he is 10/10 a good boy!
Donnie is an FIV+ kitty. This virus causes cats to be less able to fight off infection, but with standard preventive care, cats like Donnie can live normal, happy lives. Any other animals in the home should be cat-social and fully vaccinated. Donnie would do best in a home without dogs or young children though. We greatly appreciate those who adopt these special cats and gladly waive the adoption fee! Give us a call if Donnie sounds like the boy for you!
