How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by their previous owner.
Why this pet is the one for you:
Dolly is a gorgeous little guinea pig who is looking for her very own herd! In her previous home Dolly was calm and easy to handle. Guinea Pigs are incredibly social animals who need to be kept in pairs/groups to thrive. Sharing their life with other guinea pigs is an essential part of their well being. Dolly will need to be adopted to a home with a resident female guinea pig to be her life partner, or she can be adopted with another female guinea pig from SDHS. Guinea Pigs need a lot of ground space to run around and stay healthy. Two guinea pigs will need a minimum of 8 sq feet of space (more is better!) to call home. An easy and inexpensive way to give your pigs a DIY piggy palace is called a C&C fleece lined cage(google it!). Guinea pigs need lots of daily timothy hay to munch on, extra space to run around in, and toys to keep them active and enriched! If you'd love to make this furry potato a part of your family ask an adoption counselor about her today!
My adoption fee includes a certificate for a free veterinary exam!
