I've been adopted!

How this pet arrived:
This pet was born at SDHS after the mother was brought in.

At SDHS:
Dot has received excellent care and is now ready for their new home!

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Dot! This little piggy is ready to find a home to call his own! Dot would like to go to a home with another male guinea pig friend so they can explore and eat all their favorite veggies together! Dot would appreciate a family that'll allow him to warm up and acclimate to his new surroundings. With some time and patience, Dot will be a great addition to your herd! Guinea pigs need a lot of ground space to run around and stay healthy. Two guinea pigs will need a minimum of 10 sq feet of space (more is better!) to call home. An easy and inexpensive way to give your pigs a DIY piggy palace is called a C&C fleece lined cage (google it!). Guinea pigs need lots of daily timothy hay to munch on, extra space to run around in, and toys to keep them active and enriched! Healthy greens and veggies are also an essential part of their diet, as well as a daily dose of vitamin C in the form of a supplement or a slice of orange! If you'd like to learn more about adding Dot to your family, call us at 619-299-7012 and speak with an Adoptions counselor!
