How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by their previous owner on August 2, 2022.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Dixie Jean; at eleven years young, this lady is searching for a family where she can spend her golden years in style! Dixie Jean (you can also call her DJ or Dixie) prefers to take her time warming up to new friends, and she wants to do so in her own way; the quickest way to her heart is to simply let her make the first moves but treats help! She does not have any history with children, so she asks that any kiddos in her new home are willing to respond to her body language and respect her boundaries. While Dixie had grown up with another dog, others outside of her original pack just aren't her jam; but just because dog parks and beaches are off her list, doesn't mean she doesn't want to have fun! She will also need some TLC for her teefers and ticker, but Dixie Jean doesn't think that's asking too much; if she sounds like the one for you, come and get to know more today!
