Why this pet is the one for you:
Sugar Maple is looking for a rat-savvy human who will spend lots of time with them. Rats are social creatures, so Sugar Maple looks forward to living with a rat companion! Rats need to have a nice, spacious enclosure (4 or 5 cubic feet) filled with toys, hammocks, and hidey holes. Go crazy and get creative, it doesn't have to break the bank. At meal times, you can provide them with their rat pellets, safe fruits, and veggies! Just make sure to monitor their intake of sweet/fatty foods so they can stay fit, healthy and happy. They'd love to get out of the enclosure to get a good stretch! Just be sure to put up all the cords and other chewable items, as well as blocking off any potential hiding spots that you can't reach. You can set them up with different toys and mazes and watch them break a mental sweat! Rats are extremely intelligent and love to work out puzzles in exchange for tasty snacks. Doesn't that sound like the perfect way to spend the day? Click on "Adopt Me" to get started!

Color: Hooded
