How this pet arrived:
This pet was rescued by our Humane Law Enforcement team.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Hazley! Hazley is a sweet boy who can be a little fearful in new situations. He appreciates low pressure interactions when meeting him for the first time, and given a little patience and understanding becomes more confident. When he trusts someone he loves leaning against them and getting some pets and scratches. Hazley is sensitive to certain forms of handling and leashing though, which our behavior trainers have been helping him with. Due to his sensitivities, Hazley would do best in a home where everyone is above the age of 14 years old and able to accurately read his body language. Any prospective adopters will be able to talk to one of our trainers to help set Hazley up for success in his new home. Above all though, Hazley needs a loving home to spoil him like he deserves. So, if you think Hazley is the dog for you, come visit our San Diego location to learn more about him!
