I've been adopted!

How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by Humane Law Enforcement on June 13th, 2022.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Are you looking to bring some aviary joy to your home? Well, look no further! Dapple is a lovely little dove who's looking for a human who's ready for a commitment! With proper care, doves like Dapple can live for 15+ years! Doves are mellow and good natured creatures who can be intelligent and social! Doves can form close bonds with their humans - however, they are communal and are happiest when they have dove companions, as well. That being said, it will be important to quarantine them before adding them to an existing flock. Doves do best in a large aviary-type housing with other doves, but if you choose to house them in a cage, they will need an extra large flight cage. You will need to offer Dapple opportunities for bathing, as well as a variety of perch styles and shelves, to promote good foot health. Dapple will need a high quality dove grain mix as well as grit, a calcium supplement, yummy millet sprays, greens, and minced veggies for treats. Dapple is hoping for a home where they can happily nap, sunbath, nest, and flirt with their human and avian friends. Doesn't this beautiful bird sound like a great addition to the flock?
