How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by a Good Samaritan.

At SDHS:
This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home!

Why this pet is the one for you:
Rio is an exuberant goofball who will ALWAYS make you smile! He is sweet, full of energy and pretty dashing with his one floppy ear. More than anything, he LOVES his tennis ball! This independent guy is looking for a home where he will be around adults only - and they are as active as he is. Rio would do best in a home where his outdoor time is supervised. He came in as a stray so we don't know about his history, but he likes playing with toys and belly rubs when he gets to know you. He's also very treat motivated, especially for hot dogs and cream cheese! He enjoys his food in a puzzle bowl in the morning and a kong in the afternoon. If Rio sounds like the dog for you, click Adopt Me to make an appointment to adopt!
