Why this pet is the one for you:

Thumper is a handsome bunny who enjoys sitting on the laps of his loved ones for pets! He would love to find a home who spend plenty of time with him everyday. Did you know that rabbits are easy to litter box train? Well, they are! Thumper has done well with this in his last home! Contrary to popular belief, rabbits are not cage animals so they need a lot of space! Thumper will need a large exercise pen to call home as well as plenty of daily time to explore his home, and hang with his humans. Domesticated rabbits are delicate animals who are very sensitive to outdoor elements so they do best as indoor pets. Rabbits do best in families that understand that they are prey animals, and do not enjoy being held or picked up. The best way to bond with them is on their level (and on their terms). Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2) is a highly contagious disease affecting rabbits. Due to its presence in San Diego County, all rabbits will receive a mandatory RHDV2 vaccine before adoption. Guests will be charged $12 for this vaccine upon adoption.
