Ruthie has been adopted!

Ruthie is a lovely little hen who's looking for a new roost to call home. She loves to hunt for insects and tasty weeds! Once thought to be "bird-brained" new research shows that chickens are intelligent, empathetic, and affectionate pets. Fowl are known to have very distinct and amusing personalities. Anyone who's spent time with them knows how entertaining it is to sit and watch the dynamics between each hen and rooster. Whether they are being cuddly, curious, bossy, or dramatic, there will never be a dull moment with this gal around. Ruthie would love to find a cozy place to dust bathe in the morning sun.
