Why this pet is the one for you:
Eliza has beauty for daaaays and lives her life very much like royalty - very regal, a bit unattainable. Eliza has been looking for her life partner for awhile now. She has had her heart broken a few times, but she has high standards and isn't willing to settle. Eliza is a sweet affectionate feline who loves receiving head and chin scratches, and being showered with heart-felt compliments. She greets us with a big stretch every time we visit her, and we can hear her purring from a mile away! Eliza is just such a silly and unique being. She always gives us a chuckle with her adorably weird personality. When she's blissed out from a petting session she will often roll around on the floor, and start rubbing her head on all the objects in her room. When she's getting head scratches she likes to periodically give gentle little love bites to you finger as she purrs and purrs. When she's had enough affection Eliza will go find a place to relax on her own. Like many cats, Eliza prefers affection on her own terms. She's searching for a true "cat person" who can read her signals, and intuit when she's had enough. For example, we know that when she gives a little tail twitch she's nearing the end of her cuddle session. Some people think that because Eliza likes her alone time that she's an aloof cat. That really couldn't be farther from the truth. Eliza gets excited every time we visit her, and is clearly bummed out when we leave. Having some independence doesn't mean that she doesn't get lonely just like everyone else! Eliza has been at the shelter longer than any of our cats, and that's really hard for us to believe. We know that there is a cat person out there who will adore Eliza for her quirky personality as much as we do! Eliza's primary love languages are quality time and acts of service. Her ideal date is a lazy Sunday morning spent lounging in a sunny spot next to her adoring human, while she listens to the sweet sound of their voice as they tell her how beautiful she is. It probably goes without saying that Eliza is not a kid person. She prefers the company of "mature" "refined" humans who would never dream of touching her flawless fur with their sticky little fingers. We know that Eliza's perfect match is out there, and we can't wait to see her walk off into the distance with her human soul mate. If you think you check off all of Eliza's boxes make an appointment to learn about her today! Let's see if you have chemistry!
