Why this pet is the one for you: You simply must meet Patsy! This delightful four-year-old came to us from Louisiana in an effort to help make room in shelters there for pets displaced by Hurricane Laura. So far she has melted the hearts of every staff member that's met her! Patsy enjoys snuggles, and any open lap is fair game for her to crawl in! She tested positive for heartworm, which will require follow up treatment at SDHS and limited activity for the next few months while she heals. Patsy loves other dogs and showers - including your showers! However, Patsy is not a fan of cats and should go to a home without feline companions. She doesn't do so well with young children but should be fine with older, respectful children above the age of 10. Does Patsy sound like the one for you?
