Why this pet is the one for you: Say hello to Zeus! This handsome boy was part of the transport from Louisiana in order to create space in shelters for pets directly displaced by Hurricane Laura. Zeus is 6 years young, with lots of energy to burn. He enjoys walks and REALLY loves his toys! We are not sure how Zeus will do with other dogs or with small animals, so slow and gentle introductions will be appreciated; we also do not know his history with children, therefore it is recommended that he go home with children 8 years and older. Zeus makes us laugh every day with his goofy personality. Zeus has tested positive for heartworm, which will require limited activity until his treatment is completed; the good news is he will have follow up treatment care with us at SDHS!
