I've been adopted!

How this pet arrived:
This pet was rescued by the Humane Law Enforcement Team.

Why this pet is the one for you:
This beautiful bun is Hoppy! Hoppy, like all rabbits, will need a large x-pen/playpen like enclosure with at least 12 square feet of room to stretch out. Rabbits are very easy to litter-box train, and Hoppy is a smart little bunny! She will also need plenty of daily time to explore outside of her pen and hang with her human! Rabbits are intelligent and complex animals who do well in families with humans who understand that they are prey animals, and do not always enjoy being held/picked up. The best way to bond with Hoppy is to spend time with her outside of her pen, and shower her with plenty of cilantro, Romaine, and Timothy hay! She will let you know when she is happy by giving you a bunny binky (a hop/ twist in the air)! Rabbits usually do best with older children who can respect their boundaries. When rabbits get the space and enrichment they need, they often form deep bonds with their humans in the same way a dog or cat would. If it's your dream to have a floppy-earred buddy to eat salads with and snuggle (on her level) then Hopper may be the rabbit for you! Hoppy is bonded to her BFF Floppy 797113, and they need to be adopted together. To learn more, come down to the San Diego campus and ask about her today!

Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2) is a highly contagious disease affecting rabbits. Due to its presence in San Diego County, all rabbits will receive a mandatory RHDV2 vaccine before adoption. Guests will be charged $12 for this vaccine upon adoption.
