How this pet arrived:
Cinder was brought in by a Good Samaritan on June 5, 2022.

Why this pet is the one for you:
This is Cinder! Cinder is a rabbit who has definitely become a staff favorite around here! Although she can shy away from touch at times, she's got a big personality and loves to play and run around. It's so fun to watch her investigate new things and play with all of her enrichment items! The best way to bond with Cinder will be to spend time with her on the floor, and shower her with plenty of greens and Timothy hay! Cinder is a domestic rabbit and should be kept indoors. The nice thing about having indoor rabbits is that they can come out of their cage for bunny playtime, in a rabbit proof area of the home. It's during this supervised playtime that rabbits often exhibit some of their most fun and interesting behaviors! Cinder will need a large enclosure with free roaming time (bigger is always better) and would love a family who will interact with her daily to keep her healthy and social! When rabbits get the space and enrichment they need, they often form deep bonds with their humans! Ask an Adoption Counselor to learn more!
Cinder has been chosen as an Employee Pick! To see what makes her somebunny extra special click here.

Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2):
Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2) is a highly contagious disease affecting rabbits. Due to its presence in San Diego County, all rabbits will receive a mandatory RHDV2 vaccine before adoption. Guests will be charged $12 for this vaccine upon adoption.
