How this pet arrived:
Jackson was brought in by his previous owner on January 12, 2023.
Why this pet is the one for you:
This is Jackson! This friendly bun has been able to co-exist with both cats and dogs, as long as they aren't too hyperactive and give him space. Jackson, like all rabbits, will need a large x-pen or playpen like enclosure with at least 16 square feet of room to stretch out. He will also need plenty of daily time to explore outside of his pen and hang with his humans. An SDHS Volunteer states: Jackson is friendly and curious. He loves to hop up on top of his carrier for a more interesting view... then back down... then back up again. He has a great love for Oxbow Barley Biscuits and other treats. He likes to sniff all around his x-pen and explore everything and he seems to have an excellent nose, reminiscent of a bloodhound. He has very soft, smooth fur and will allow gentle petting, but he prefers to be active.... and sniff, sniff, sniff. He is a clean and spiffy looking boy. I think his nose spot looks like a butterfly landed on his nose. After a long period of sniffing and investigating, he plopped down - but in a dignified way. Seems he wants to appear the gentleman, even at rest. It is fascinating to watch his ears move like antennae. To see if this rabbit is perfect for you, come ask about him at our Oceanside today!
