I've been adopted!

How this pet arrived:
Lord Farquaad was brought in by his previous owner on November 21, 2021.

Why this pet is the one for you:
This is Lord Farquaad! Lord Farquaad is an adorable (extra large) rabbit looking for his new home. His previous owner described him is curious and outgoing. Rabbits, like Lord Farquaad, need large enclosures or exercise pens kept indoors for health, safety, and socialization purposes - it's also great to give them free-roaming time outside of their enclosure! Lord Farquaad is used to having free-roaming time and may not be the happiest unless he has room to roam! Did you know rabbits are easy to litterbox train? Well, they are! Rabbits also succeed best in a home that understands that they are prey animals, and typically do not enjoy being picked up or handled. The best way to bond with your new rabbit buddy is to get on their level (literally!) and feed them some yummy hay and greens while they bounce around! If Lord Farquaad sounds like the one for you, let an Adoption Counselor know!

Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2):
Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2) is a highly contagious disease affecting rabbits. Due to its presence in San Diego County, all rabbits will receive a mandatory RHDV2 vaccine before adoption. Guests will be charged $12 for this vaccine upon adoption.
