I've been adopted!

How this pet arrived:
Gorgei was brought in by a Field Services Officer on December 13, 2021.

Why this pet is the one for you:
This is Gorgei! Gorgei is a fun bunny who loves to hop around and is alert, active and very playful. He enjoys gentle pets if he is not too busy playing, but it can take him some time to build trust with new people. The best way to bond with Gorgei is to spend time with him on the floor, and shower him with plenty of greens and Timothy hay. Gorgei is a domestic rabbit and he should be kept indoors in a large enclosure with plenty of room to stretch out and play. The nice thing about having indoor rabbits is that they can come out of their enclosure for bunny playtime, in a rabbit proof area of the home. It's during this supervised playtime that rabbits often exhibit some of their most fun and interesting behaviors! This sweet boy is a staff favorite, and we would love to see him find a loving home! If you are interested in adopting Gorgei, ask about him today!

Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2):
Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2) is a highly contagious disease affecting rabbits. Due to its presence in San Diego County, all rabbits will receive a mandatory RHDV2 vaccine before adoption. Guests will be charged $12 for this vaccine upon adoption.
