Suitability Guide Long Term Animal Part of a Bonded Pair
Tempo #767664
American/Mix
Female | 3Yrs 1Mths 2Wks (approx) | 3 lbs 12.48 oz
I've been adopted!
How this pet arrived: Tempo was brought in by a Good Samaritan on October 12, 2021.
Why this pet is the one for you: Meet Tempo! Tempo came in with her sister, Rhythm #767663 and they must be adopted together. Their combined adoption fee is only $35! Did you know that rabbits are easy to litter box train? Well, they are! Contrary to popular belief, rabbits are not cage animals so they need a lot of space! Rhythm and Tempo will need a large exercise pen to call home as well as plenty of daily time to explore outside of their pen, and hang with their humans. Domesticated rabbits are delicate animals who are very sensitive to outdoor elements, so they do best as indoor pets. Rabbits do best in families that understand that they are prey animals, and do not enjoy being held or picked up. The best way to bond with them is on their level (and on their terms). If you'd like to learn more about these buns, just ask an Adoption Counselor!
Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2): Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2) is a highly contagious disease affecting rabbits. Due to its presence in San Diego County, all rabbits will receive a mandatory RHDV2 vaccine before adoption. Guests will be charged $12 for this vaccine upon adoption.
