I've been adopted!

How this pet arrived:
Amber was brought in by her previous owner on January 14, 2023.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Amber! This corpulent feline spends most of her days lounging around and enjoying a daytime nap. Amber has tolerated a small dog, but would definitely prefer to be your one and only furry friend, as she doesn't like other animals interacting with her. Amber can be shy at first and may hide when she's adjusting or when new people are over. That being said, she can be quite friendly with those that she knows and trusts and she's looking for a family who will understand her boundaries. Amber does not enjoy having her belly touched and can be be overstimulated with too much petting and she may respond with soft bites when she wants to be left alone. Because of this, Amber would do best in a quiet home, without children. Her previous owner says she is not a fan of canned wet food and prefers to only dine on dry cat food - you'll definitely want to limit what she's eating as this chunky girl would feel much better if she lost a few pounds!
