Why this pet is the one for you: Bella is 4 years old but is ready to settle in and settle down! She came into our care with hip problems and received a surgery with SDHS. As an adopter, you will have to help maintain a pain free life for her. Bella was noted to have an abnormal gait, an orthopedic exam revealed decreased range-of-motion of both her hips and her left knee. X-Rays were taken and showed evidence of hip dysplasia and metal hardware in the left knee area; both the hip dysplasia and metal hardware have caused arthritis in those joints. The metal pin within may need to be removed surgically if it is causing pain, Bella has been started on pain medications to bring her comfort during her stay with us. She is a sweet girl who wants a nice spot in the sun to relax, and keep her active but comfortable as she ages. Want to know more? Ask about Bella today!
