How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by their previous owner on October 30,2020.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Tambor is a handsome silver martin who's ready to settle down. Tambor came to SDHS with his best pal Yoni! These boys are best buds so they are a packaged deal. In their previous home Yoni and Tambor had free range of most of the house. These boys are litter box trained so they kept their home very clean! In their future home Tambor and Yoni will need a lot of space to stretch out! They will need a minimum of 12 square feet of space (more is better), in addition to plenty of "floor time" where they are able to come out, explore, and interact with their human family. Rabbits are intelligent and complex animals who do well in families with humans who understand that they are prey animals, and do not enjoy being held/picked up. The best way to bond with them is to spend time with them and offer them plenty of cilantro, Romaine, and Timothy hay! Because rabbits need so much space and aren't easy to hold they aren't an ideal "starter pet". When Rabbits get the space and enrichment they need, they often form deep bonds with their humans in the same way a dog or cat would. If you'd like to make these boys part of your family, book an appointment today!
