Buns #842678
American/Mix
Male  |  4 lbs 2 oz

I've been adopted!

How Buns arrived:
Buns was brought in by a Good Samaritan.

Why Buns is the one for you:
Meet Buns! This handsome, fella is ready to find a home to call his own! Buns will need a minimum of 12 sq feet of space to be able to zoom till his heart's content! Rabbits, like Buns, are social creatures, and would love another rabbit pal to bond and hangout with! Rabbits are intelligent and complex animals who do well with owners who understand that they are prey animals, and do not always enjoy being picked up. The best way to bond with Buns is to spend time with him outside of his pen, and shower him with plenty of cilantro, Romaine, and Timothy hay! Buns will let you know when he is happy by giving you a bunny binky (a hop/ twist in the air)! When rabbits get the space and enrichment they need, they often form deep bonds with their humans in the same way a dog or cat would. If it's your dream to have a floppy-eared buddy to eat salads with and snuggle (on his level) then Buns may be the rabbit for you!

Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2):
Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2) is a highly contagious disease affecting rabbits. Due to its presence in San Diego County, all rabbits will receive a mandatory RHDV2 vaccine before adoption. Guests will be charged $12 for this vaccine upon adoption.
