How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by a Field Services Officer on May 15,2020.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Daffodil is a such a doll baby! If you're looking for a snuggly sweet heart then she may be your girl. When Daffodil arrived at SDHS she was feeling pretty crummy. She was nursing some painful wounds that we've since patched up, and she is doing better everyday! Even when she was feeling her worst this 70 pound pumpkin let our Humane Law Enforcement officer scoop her up into their arms to get her the help she needed. Sometimes receiving TLC from veterinary staff can be uncomfortable when you're hurting, but Daffodil soaked up all the attention she received! Daffodil is a mellow affectionate girl who even enjoyed the warm baths she received during her time in our vet suit! She leans into any pets that are bestowed on her, and savors every moment. Daffodil will do best as the only pet in your life. She's just more of a "people person" than a "dog person". Daffodil is healing up beautifully, but she'll need an adopter who can keep a close eye on her progress and get her help if she needs it. If you have a big fluffy bed to pamper this princess, and open arms to snuggle her then make an appointment for Daffodil today!
