How this pet arrived:
Coco was brought in by a Good Samaritan on May 6, 2020.

At SDHS:
Coco is receiving excellent care from Behavior & Training team and this gal enjoys learning. Coco is now ready for her new home!

Why Coco is the one for you:
Coco is a sweet pittie looking for a home and family to give all her love and kisses to! She wants to eat all of the snacks, which is great for continuing her positive reinforcement training. Coco is a special gal who needs a home with no other animals and older children (14+) who can respect her boundaries. She needs a patient adopter who is willing to give her space and continue to work on her dog reactivity and restraint sensitivity. On walks, she gets worked up when she sees other dogs or things she's not super familiar with. Our trainers have been helping her learn that these things aren't scary and they'd like to share some tips with her adopters to ease her transition in the new home. Because her reactivity will take some management as she's learning, Coco would do best in a low-traffic home with a private, contained yard. If you think Coco could be right for you, call us today!>
