Tammy has so much heart and resilience! If you can believe it, she was rescued after falling into a well! From the looks of her, Tammy has had a hard go at life, but her spirit is unscathed. Tammy is uncommonly sweet. She is incredibly trusting, gentle, and happy-go-lucky. Her foster parents report that she is "just lovey". She has met their neighbors small dogs, and they couldn't believe how wonderful and gentle she was with them. She sleeps most of the day, but pops right up if she sees you grab a leash! She love love loves her daily walks. Due to the quarantine she can't meet strangers, but she always appears eager and friendly when she crosses paths with them. She does get excited on those walks and sometimes doesn't know her own strength when she pulls on the leash. Her foster parents say that she has started to become more playful (when she's not snoozing!), and that she loves to lay her head on your lap to remind you to pet her! Tammy currently has some fractured teeth, is losing her hearing, and has finished treatment for a bacterial tick-borne infection that is non-contagious to people or other animals. Part of her adoption includes a consult with a vet to discuss her further and answer any questions! Tammy is truly pure of heart. She's had a rough life so far, but still all she gives the world is unadulterated happiness. This little angel deserves to put down roots with a family who will cherish her for the rest of her life.
