I've been adopted!

How this pet arrived:
This pet was transferred in from SDHS's Escondido campus on April 30, 2020.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Kalmar is an eight-year-old lab mix; he was originally brought to our Escondido campus by his previous owner, and now we are getting to know him while he's here in Oceanside. His previous owners stated that he tends to be cautious of strangers, but he now considers the staff here his best buds! One thing to know about Kalmar is not a big fan of sharing toys, food and treats, or anything that he might consider valuable with other animals. Because of this, the behavior and training staff that have worked with him feel that he really ought to be the only critter in the home; in addition, an adoption counselor will guide his new family on how to help him feel comfortable enough to keep these behaviors to a minimum. If you feel like Kalmar could be a match for you, call and ask about him today!
