How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by their previous owner on August 8, 2020.

At SDHS:
Hondoo has spent extra time with your Behavior and Training team to help us learn more about his needs. His trainer is excited to chat with you before his adoption!

Why this pet is the one for you:
Hondoo is a smart, goofy dude who enjoys chewing, fetching, and cuddling! Hondoo is a particular kinda guy and has some strict boundaries about how he likes to be touched - because of this, Hondoo will need an adult only home where his needs are understood. He has been thriving with positive reinforcement training and it is critical that this is continued in his new home. This fluffy guy has shown his trusted humans lots of affection and heartwarming hangout sessions; we are excited for him to have this connection in his new home! He does have the go-go-go mentality of any good sled dog and will need fun, challenging mental enrichment as a part of his daily life, as his mild hip dysplasia makes high impact exercise less sustainable long term. We cannot wait to find Hondoo a compassionate new guardian who will love him for all that he is! Do you think you have a comfy spot for this guy to rest his paws? Click the "Adopt me" button now!
